    Chapter 484, Part II, Title XXXII – Hearing Aid Specialist:

    • Objective: Demonstrate knowledge of the minimum procedures for hearing aid fitting, consumer protection policies, licensing process and prohibited practices to ensure ethical and legal compliance in the hearing aid industry.

Michael Yu, MS, MBA, MLS (ASCP), RHIA, is a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist in California, Florida, and Hawaii, certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by ASCP. He holds a Master of Science in Medical Laboratory Science from George Washington University and a Master of Business Administration from Loma Linda University.

Michael Yu served as the phlebotomy program lecturer for the UCLA School of Medicine, Center for Prehospital Care. He has also taught in the graduate Biomedical Informatics program at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).
